Aussie boy's thoughts

After the return of the magical Star Wars action in The Force Awakens, Rian Johnson attempts to create an addition to the new trilogy, victoriously delivering what Star Wars fans want the most. In fact, The Last Jedi is easily so much better than The Force Awakens and majority of the previous Star Wars movies. It paces well with its runtime.

There’s no doubt that this instalment continues to send the heroes and villains into magnificently action-packed battles. Exceedingly surprisingly, The Last Jedi doesn’t just do amazing with the sci-fi action, but the dialogue is also equally as engaging. By just these elements by themselves, the entire film, from the very beginning to the start of the credits, is very entertaining and easily impressive. No Star Wars movie could do what this chapter does.

Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Carrie Fisher are all just as super as they were in The Force Awakens, if not possibly much better. The music is great, the special effects are gripping, and every small detail to the story just seems to be perfect. The Last Jedi is easily one of 2017’s best action films.
