Aussie boy's thoughts
It’s a gorgeous animation that, whilst being hysterically funny and massively entertaining, displays the sparkling result of being courageous and owning an optimistically curious attitude. And along with discovering the unidentified, Kirk DeMicco and Chris Sanders shed some focus onto genuine shame and brief jealousy.
Seemingly no matter what, animated tales have to really push into creative and even just weak-appearing ideas to eventually fall into success. The Croods takes a cave family in a world of fantastical creatures. But it does best with delivering messages centred around discovering the new, using your brain to create ideas and being a parent, mainly looking at the role of a protective father.
The Croods mixes these occasionally emotional themes with being absolutely hilarious, adventurously entertaining and also edging towards an exciting intensity. The voice performances are perfect, the characters are fun, and there’s just no doubt that families searching for animations will adore this one.
