IS THE VIOLENCE AS SHOCKING AS THE IDEAS IN LAW ABIDING CITIZEN?

Although the violence gets pretty bloody and graphic, it can’t take over how great the thrills are in this awesome revenge story. Despite some slow stuff, Law Abiding Citizen is a usually entertaining and gripping story.

Aussie boy's thoughts

This is the kind of film where the execution of the jaw-dropping violence, shocking ideas and a man’s twisted sense of vengeance is enough to engage and thrill you. But what also adds to the enjoyment of Law Abiding Citizen is Jamie Foxx’s and Gerard Butler’s engrossing and well-designed characters. Expect a ton of bloody violence, murders and insane elements in this film.

So obviously this movie is very likeable with a fairly entertaining story. But despite the gruesome and electrifying material, most will discover a heap of reasonable disappointment as the film closes. You’ve probably heard enough about this film including an unacceptable ending, which it definitely does, but it fortunately doesn’t own the ability to take charge of the rest of the story.

Butler is extreme, Foxx is appealing and the amount of thrills is awesome; that is all you’ll remember from Law Abiding Citizen. It’s a very intelligent film, with F. Gary Gray behind the camera and the great writing of Kurt Wimmer. What an incredible and action-packed revenge thriller.
