Clown movie review - Aussieboyreviews

IS CLOWN A CLEVERLY SCARY LOW BUDGET HORROR MOVIE?

NO!!! Clown is, without doubt, one of the worst horror movies existing. It’s all just a group of teens running around in a “really creepy” funhouse. This dumb film isn’t scary… unless you’ve got a stupid heck of a fear of clowns.

Storyline

A group of teens fight for their lives when they become trapped inside an abandoned fun house and terrorised by a crazy killer clown.

Aussie boy's thoughts

Despite a miniature amount of the climax, everything you can think of about Clown is absolutely dreadful. Even for a low budget horror film, the acting and effects along with the entire story are so predictably bad.

Of course the characters in Clown are the type of casual horror movie characters, but their performances are just terrible! Plus, the story is just a really dumb and pointless idea. The film seems to be going ridiculously fast until it kinda has to go deeply boring. The violence is also heavily relied on to scare you, which it fails, but audiences with a gaping fear of clowns may find Clown a decent horror tale.

Still, it’s pointlessly unfortunate that films like this one surmise that they can have you screaming with the violent attacks. The ideas of the objects and features of Clown are already taken which makes the film a lot less creepy. So please to all the horror creators out there, if you have unique plans for an entertaining story, let ’em all out!… But not like Clown…
